Tool Design, Manufacture and Regrind

Peter Campbell (Sales) Ltd’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at our head office in Scotland can produce premium quality, bespoke tooling on a short lead time, at a very competitive cost.

Our engineers are able to design, make or modify cutting tools to your exacting specifications. Our in house design service allows us to create any bespoke, special tool requirements; from adding a radius to a standard tool, to creating a complete set of cutting tools to your specification.  Our highly skilled staff have years of experience in providing custom-made cutting tools to suit our individual clients’ needs.

We are dedicated to quality in everything we do.  We understand that achieving these high standards is a constant process of improvement over time and we continually evaluate and improve our procedures.  All of our procedures conform to ISO9001/2008.

All tooling, whether manufactured or reground is processed through both line and final inspection procedures prior to despatch.

Round Shank Tooling

As well as manufacturing standard tooling, PCS is proud to specialise in more bespoke, non-standard tools such as single hit tools to rough and finish ports, and special form cutters for interpolate milling.  We CNC regrind Carbide and HSS tools, standards and specials, resulting in substantial savings against buying new.

Inserts

We offer a full range of On-Edge and Laydown Threading, Grooving and Full Forming inserts, even down to one-off inserts manufactured to your specific needs, uncoated or coated, on a short lead time.

Our Manual Department

PCS’s Manual Department covers all manner of tooling that is impractical to re-grind or manufacture in the enclosed environment of a CNC/NC machine, such as Gun Drills and larger diameter side and face cutters.
